Nice Youngtimers Car’s est honoré de vous présenter à la vente ce superbe exemplaire de la TVR Griffith.

Avant de présenter le modèle, nous tenions à brièvement présenter la marque, peu connue du grand public… TVR est une marque anglaise crée en 1947 par Mr Trévor Wilkinson. TVR correspond aux consonnes de ce prénom. Comme plusieurs de ses compatriotes, son idée était de créer des voitures légères et puissantes… Actuellement, la marque existe encore, avec la présentation de la Griffith 2 en 2018 en collaboration avec l’ingénieur Gordon Murray et Cosworth, c’est dire !

Revenons à la TVR Griffith, présentée en 1990 et produite jusque 2002, elle connaitra évidemment des évolutions. Son moteur, par exemple, qui évolue au fil du temps, d’une cylindrée passant de 4.0l à 5.0l à la fin de sa carrière. Lors de sa présentation au Motor Show de Birmingham, elle fit sensation a tel point que TVR avait du mal à répondre à la demande. La Griffith a même reçu le prix du design en 1991 par le British Award Council.

NYC’s met en vente ce magnifique exemplaire de la TVR Griffith, de couleur bleu foncé, intérieur cuir noir. Livrée neuve en Belgique en juillet 1993, elle totalise actuellement 39.200 Kms, répartis par 4 propriétaires belges au total. En effet, en 2002 son deuxième propriétaire l’achète avant de la revendre en 2017 à son 3eme propriétaire. Le 4eme et actuel propriétaire la possède depuis décembre 2022, achetée à ce moment-là chez un marchand de voitures haut de gamme. Ce dernier a effectué 1.500 kms et a décidé de la revendre pour un autre modèle.

La carrosserie est un très bon état, pas parfaite (on notera une griffe sur le capot), mais dans l’ensemble elle présente vraiment très bien.

La capote est tout aussi nickel, pas le moindre défaut…

L’intérieur est en très bon état aussi. On notera un peu de délamination au niveau du parebrise, mais pour le reste, elle est vraiment impeccable, que ce soient les sièges, le tableau de bord, le volant, la console centrale, rien n’est à prévoir, elle présente vraiment très bien.

Au niveau mécanique, nous avons un très bon suivi des entretiens effectués (voir photos des factures sur notre site), et un entretien a été effectué en décembre 2022 lors de la vente au propriétaire actuel. Ce dernier, n’ayant peu roulé avec, n’en a pas fait mais un nouvel entretien peut être inclus dans la vente. Toutefois, après un essai routier et le fait qu’elle ait roulé 100 kms pour venir en nos établissements, nous pouvons confirmer qu’elle roule vraiment bien (démarrage, tenue de route, frein, accélération, rien à dire sur son comportement routier).

D’ailleurs, le dernier contrôle technique date de décembre 2023 (38 897 kms) et ne mentionne aucune remarque.

Nous avons également un rapport d’expertise de décembre 2022 qui confirme son très bon état général. Ce rapport est disponible sur demande.

Elle est aussi complète, avec le manuel d’utilisation d’origine, le double des clés et tous les documents nécessaires (attestation constructeur, les précédents certificats d’immatriculation, COC etc…) et le kilomètrage est parfaitement traçable via le lien car pass.

A noter aussi qu’elle est équipée des améliorations de la version 5.0 au niveau moteur et pont. Le châssis a aussi été refait (attestation évidemment en ordre) car les premières versions souffraient de la corrosion.

Un pont est disponible en nos établissements pour vous présenter le dessous du véhicule.
